We'd rather be straight about this than sell you a word. Like every website, we can see connection information such as your IP address, and messages are retained for a period so that abuse reports can actually be investigated — a service that stores nothing cannot act on a report at all. Without a name attached, there's no reputation to manage and no reason to perform, which is why strangers will sometimes tell you something true in five minutes that a friend wouldn't in five years. Do I need to register?
No. There's no registration of any kind — no email, no phone number, no username. Confirm you're 18+ and start.
Can the other person find out who I am?
Not from the platform. They get no identifier for you at all. The realistic way it goes wrong is you telling them, or clicking a link they send.
Are my chats stored?
Messages are retained for a period so that reports can be investigated and abusive users banned. Our privacy policy sets out what's stored and for how long.
Is anonymous chat legal?
Yes, in most countries. What matters is that you're within the site's age policy — 18+ here — and that you're not using it for something that's illegal regardless of platform.
